Warbler Woods
Acquired in 2023, this site includes wetlands and a densely forested upland slope. It abuts Old Colony Nature Pathway to the north and PCT’s Maple Grove Bird Sanctuary to the west.
Previously known as Mayflower Heights Woods, the site was renamed Warbler Woods by the Open Space Committee to reflect Provincetown’s importance to migrating bird species, like warblers. Warbler Woods has a short trail up to a ridge with views of Provincetown Harbor during winter months. Access to the land is from commercial Street along a dirt road right-of-way.
A cerulean warbler rests on a branch in Warbler Woods.
