Come join us for our ongoing Birds and Brews series at Provincetown Brewing Company, where known bird expert and author Peter Trull will delight us discussing the misconceptions and facts about wildness. Peter will talk about snowy owls, ducks, seals and even coyotes!

The event if free, but donations to the PCT are encouraged!


ABOUT PETER TRULL

Peter Trull has been involved in Research and Education for over 40 years. He coordinated seabird protection and research for the Massachusetts Audubon Society …He conducted field research in Guyana and Surinam, studying the market trapping of Common Terns and Roseate Terns, working with local bird trappers in several coastal villages where he hesitatingly admits he’s eaten Common Terns and 15 to 20 species of sandpipers and plovers. As Education Director at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, he developed classroom and field programs and began studying Eastern Coyotes in 1989. Through the 90's, as a researcher and Education Director at the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies, he developed and taught classes related to whales and marine birds and has completed over 2500 whale watching trips related to education and research. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education. He has written nine books about Cape Cod natural history. His most recent book Birds of Paradox-The Life of Terns, was released in spring 2019. His upcoming book, Cape Cod – Once Around the Sun, is a tribute to John Hay and his 1961 classic Nature’s Year.



Peter is one of the Northeast’s foremost authorities on bird and wildlife.
