Property Description
This 1.49 acre Maple Swamp Bird Sanctuary was acquired by the Provincetown Conservation Trust in May of 2016.
Fauna and Flora
The area is full of Cape Cod scrub pine, birch, oak, and of course maple trees for which the area is named. Visitors to the site will also find swamp azaleas and lady slippers.
Animals found here
This is a bird sanctuary. The area is a favorite among migrating birds. Birdwatchers may find sparrow, blackbirds, great blue herons, and raptors.
